This week, over January 14 and 15, members of Assured Environments pest control experts including, Mr. Andrew Klein, President of Assured Environments, attended the the 2015 National Pest Management Association, Eastern Regional Conference in Newport, RI. The annual conference attracts managers, technicians and owners of pest control companies, who come to learn about developments in the industry, as well as new best practices to best serve their clientele with the most up-to-date pest management techniques.

The 2015 NPMA Eastern Regional Conference is one of the longest running conferences held by the NPMA and features a slew of guest speakers who are experts in their respective fields. This year’s session topics included updates to ongoing bed bug research; bird management in urban and suburban environments; developing and maintaining green pest management techniques and pest control within food plants, to name just a few.

Assured Environments’ President, Andrew Klein, sat on a panel of experts on Wednesday to discuss;  “Tools for Your Business: Resources and How to Use Them”. Items covered in his lecture include an OSHA toolbox, online communities, comprehensive online learning centers and an extensive image library that pest management businesses can use in its training and marketing materials. In addition, Klein spoke about the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) and how it can impact your organization by fostering growth with involvement.

Andrew Klein has been at the helm of Assured Environments since taking over the role from his father in 1994 when it was still known as Allied Exterminating.
