President of New York’s Largest Pest Control Firm Chairs Committee of National Association 11/2/11

Assured Environments’ president, Andrew Klein, has been appointed to chair the Bed Bug Committee of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA). The Bed Bug Committee is an offshoot of the NPMA’s Blue Ribbon Bed Bug Task Force, which was developed about a year ago to address the growing issue of bed bugs. The committee is making efforts towards developing a coherent, unified industry response to the re-emergence of bed bugs, including best management practices, standards for insect-detecting canines, positions on a range of policies and overseeing the development of a wide range of educational and outreach materials.
