As part of its ongoing commitment to serve others, Assured Environments is donating 10 percent of its 2011 profits to charitable organizations.

Assured Environments, the leading pest management firm in New York, made monetary contributions throughout the year to a wide range of worthy causes. Some of the donations made this year have been to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the YMCA, UJA-Federation, Ronald McDonald House, FDNY Foundation and New York’s Museum of Modern Art and Museum of Natural History. Assured Environment also provided financial support for Special Olympics, the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, the American Cancer Society, the NYC Ballet, the Police Athletic League, Turnaround – Partners in School Transformation and the Foundation Fighting Blindness…and the list goes on.

Philanthropy is an intrinsic part of Assured Environments’ mission to assist people—whether it’s with pest-related problems or other issues. “My father, Daniel J. Klein, founded the company in 1934 with one basic principle in mind: helping others, and charity is just one way in which we can honor his legacy and achieve this goal,” CEO and Owner Bob Klein said.

Exercising benevolence is nothing new for Assured Environments. Each year the company makes dozens of donations to worthwhile causes. While the bulk of its donations are bestowed on New York-based charities, the firm also lends support to national organizations. “Assured Environments is privileged and pleased to be able to assist a variety of organizations with accomplishing their mission,” Klein said. “It is simply our way of giving back to the people and community that we serve.”
