All of Assured’s executives and technicians are pest control experts, but the direction and technical expertise is obtained from our staff entomologists and consultants. Together, these experts have over 50 years of combined entomology experience, immeasurable pest control training and numerous related degrees and certifications.

Jerry P. Quinlan

Jerry Quinlan has served as one of Assured Environments’ entomologists since 1995. Quinlan is a consultant for the company and has helped with the design and administration of the pest management solutions in pharmaceutical research facilities as well as other large institutions. Previously, Quinlan was a staff entomologist for eleven years (1984 – 1995) for a specialty pest control firm in New Jersey. He also held the position as a Quality Control Director for a New York pest management company from 1995-2003. Quinlan is a certified instructor by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and has trained hundreds of technicians throughout his career.

Jerry Quinlan received a Bachelors of Science degree in Entomology and Ecology from Cornell University in 1983. As a graduate student, Quinlan was an instructor for the General Biology laboratory at Rutgers University. Quinlan received his certificate as a Board Certified Entomologist in two categories: Urban Pest Management, and Ecology and Population Dynamics.

Tim Hendricks

Tim Hendricks is the Director of Training for Assured Environments. Hendricks is responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of training programs for Assured Environments’ 220 employees. Hendricks also manages the company’s online learning center, coordinates the annual Assured Environments Training Day and provides technical support to all of Assured’s divisions. Hendricks began his career in urban pest management in 1986, gaining experience as a technician, sales manager, supervisor, district manager and corporate trainer.

Hendricks is an Associate-Certified Entomologist and is a member of the Entomological Society of America. Hendricks earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Francis Marion University in Florence South Carolina.

Dr. Austin Frishman

Dr. Austin Frishman stands in a league of his own. One of the world’s most renowned entomologists, Dr. Frishman has been a consultant for Assured Environments since 1974, collaborating on numerous treatment and control methods for New Yorkers for nearly 40 years. But his success is not limited to our geographic region.

Beginning in the 1980’s, Dr. Frishman was an integral part in developing baits and non-liquid insecticide solutions, which revolutionized our industry and are now widely used for treating cockroaches. For decades, Dr. Frishman has been a consultant for pest management companies and is constantly sought after as a guest speaker for industry events. He has helped Fortune 500 companies, private businesses, government agencies, hospitals, food facilities and thousands of pest control companies improve their processes and alleviate pest concerns throughout the world.

Dr. Austin Frishman continues to share his knowledge with us all as a featured columnist in Pest Control Magazine, a leading national trade publication. He is also the author of 9 books and more than 65 publications. Our industry is truly fortunate to have the guidance and wisdom of Dr. Frishman and we at Assured Environments are honored to have him as an advisor, colleague and friend.
