Joe spent over 25 years with the North Caldwell Police Department, serving his last ten years as Chief of Police before retiring. Following retirement, he combined his love for dogs with his professional skills by founding an obedience training and scent recognition company. Now a valued member of the Assured team, Joe has built a strong bond with his canine partners, Chief and Charlie, who go home with him each day and are treated as part of the family.
Dave Machette has over 30 years of dog training experience, including his work with the Essex County Sheriff’s Office and as a certified Police K-9 trainer. Throughout his career, he has trained hundreds of professionals in narcotics detection, explosive detection, search and rescue, building searches, cadaver recovery, human tracking with bloodhounds, and arson detection.
